Intimate Winter Wedding at Dame Restaurant
Sitting together under the floral curtain, that was the ceremony backdrop
This January wedding at Dame Restaurant in Portland Or was a stunner. It was intimate, chic and full of beautiful details. It also felt effortless - it all just fell together in the most organic and lovely way. The magic of this wedding, so gorgeously captured by Brandi Potter Photography, is really a testament to what happens when a couple lets their own style and vision truly guide them.
Warm neutrals were punched up with all the shades found in the delicious natural wines served at Dame - tawny yellows, carnelian orange, ruby claret and purple tinged pinks were set off against deep green foliage and the marine blue of the restaurant walls.
A small accent arrangement for the bar
A big entrance ein a small space
Cate made her way though the smiling faces of their dearest friends and family to meet Shane. They were married in front of a floral curtain designed using tropical greens and foliage and strung with locally grown, apricot hued lilies.
I love this portrait. So romantic, and the drama of that gorgeous veil.
When the groom holds the bouquet
Small, intimate spaces allow for a lot of impact. I think guests feel close and included, and the couple gets to feel the love and support of their nearest and dearest. Flowering this wedding was a delight artistically and creatively.
CHEERS!
So much love, good wine and food!
